“The Family EP” is the most recent and highly anticipated collaborative project from South African record producer and remixer, V.Underground & Ultra-Tone Records’ disc jockey and young (up-and-coming) record producer J.Fo-Real.
Released digitally on October 20th, 2017 the extended play features a grand total of four original songs and they all sound shockingly different from their other offerings on the label’s catalogue. Speaking on Sole Essential Live, V.Underground said that they “wanted to work on something different: specifically tech sounds but with a little [bit] of Afro and soul beats”.

“We didn’t want any singing vocals so we used one of our own, which is R.U.T – on a track called ‘Reasons Why’’ he added.
The standout tracks are ‘Leviticus’ and ‘The Secret’, but ‘That Feeling’ is not a bad track either. All in all: the EP is very amazing and I truly hope we’ll get to hear more collaborative efforts from these two young and talented South African (biological) brothers.
